Say ALOHA 😎 to your new favorite chicken recipe! These Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Skewers can be grilled or pan-fried for a quick, clean, tasty dinner in under a half hour. Yes, please! 🤩
-1/2c BBQ sauce of choice
-1/3c soy sauce
-1T rice wine vinegar
-2t sesame oil
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1T ginger, minced
-Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
-2 chicken breasts, trimmed and cut into 1″ pieces
-2c cubed pineapples
-2 peppers, loosely chopped
-1 red onion, loosely chopped
-In a large bowl, whisk sauces, oils, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and honey. Salt, pepper, and red pepper to taste.
-Make skewers alternating chicken, pineapple, peppers, and onion.
-Pour half the marinade over the chicken.
-Place skewers on grill or in pan, and brush remaining marinade onto the skewers. Flip when halfway cooked (about 5min).
-Garnish with cilantro. Can service with white rice, sweet potatoes, or carbs of choice. Enjoy!
