Recipe: Lasagna

LASAGNA 😍🤤🍝 alright so, admittedly, this one isn’t *the* cleanest recipe I’ve posted, but for those special occasions and/or times of high caloric needs, this one is THE BOMB. 💣 Check it out! ((Serves 10, about ~600cal/serving)
-2T olive oil
-Lotsa garlic, minced
-Fresh basil, minced
-Fresh sage, minced
-1# ground beef
-1# spicy italian sausage
-1 yellow onion, chopped
-Italian seasoning
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Lasagna noodles
-3 eggs
-2 big jars tomato sauce of choice
-Diced tomatoes, if desired for more sauce/texture
-1 bag shredded mozzarella
-1 container ricotta cheese
-1 container shredded parmesan
-In a large skillet heated over medium, add the olive oil, garlic, basil, and sage. Cook 2min or until fragrant. Add the beef, sausage, and onion — season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste. Cook through. Remove from the pan, and you can either blot/drain the extra grease off the meat if desired.
-Cook lasagna noodles according to instructions — slightly undercooked or al dente.
-Add meat back into pan, and combine with sauce and diced tomatoes if using. Simmer over low-medium heat, and add more seasoning if desired — about 15min.
-Pre-heat oven to 350*.
-Mix ricotta, mozzarella, and eggs by hand.
-Layer the lasagna in your baking dish in this order: sauce/noodles/sauce/noodles/cheese mix/sauce/noodles/cheese/sauce/cheese.
-Bake for 35min with foil on top; then remove foil and continue baking for another 10-20min, until top layer browns.
🤤🤤Oooommmmgggg DELISH. Food coma NOW. 🤩Give this one a try and let me know what you think!
